I started ShayTex Bookkeeping because I saw small business owners drowning in paperwork, stressed about tax time, and making big decisions without clear numbers to back them up. I knew I could help.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University, I'm a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, and I'm certified through the Intuit Bookkeeping program. But beyond the credentials, what sets my work apart is simple: I actually care. I listen, I catch the things that fall through the cracks, and I treat your business like it matters — because it does.
When I'm not behind my desk, you'll find me spending time with my two boys, out fishing, listening to music a little too loud, or watching the rain come down (Texarkana springs, you get it).
